ウィング銀行、CamDXプラットフォームとの統合によりe-KYC機能を強化し、顧客体験と不正防止を強化。
カンボジアで最も急成長している商業銀行の一つであるウィング銀行は、このほどカンボジアデータエクスチェンジ（CamDX）プラットフォームの会員権を獲得し、顧客のオンボーディングプロセスの強化に向けて重要な一歩を踏み出しました。
この戦略的な動きにより、ウイング・バンクはe-KYC（Electronic Know Your Customer）機能を強化し、オンボーディング・プロセスをさらに合理化するとともに、不正防止対策を強化することができる。
CamDXは、エストニアのX-Roadにヒントを得て、カンボジア王国政府によって設立された情報技術プラットフォームです。デジタル接続を利用し、API（Application Programming Interfaces）を介して、さまざまな官民システム間のデータ交換を容易にする。
ウイング・バンクはCamDXへの加盟を通じて、カンボジア王国内務省のデータベースと顧客のKYC書類をリアルタイムで照合できるようになり、e-KYC機能を強化しています。この統合により、セキュリティが強化され、不正行為のリスクが軽減されます。ウイング・バンクは2023年4月26日に正式にこのプラットフォームに参加した。
ウイングバンクのハン・ペン・クワン最高経営責任者（CEO）は、「CamDXのメンバーになることで、ウイングバンクはデジタル革命の最前線に位置づけられ、テクノロジーを活用して顧客のオンボーディング・プロセスを再定義し、不正行為と闘い、金融包摂を推進する」と述べた。
さらに、「e-KYC機能を強化することで、お客さまにシームレスで安全なオンボーディング・エクスペリエンスを提供し、当行のデジタル・バンキング・サービスに対する信頼と信用を醸成していきます」と強調した。
e-KYC技術により、組織は有効なデータベースと照合することで、顧客の書類をデジタルで確認することができます。強固で安全なe-KYC機能の導入は、カンボジア政府の「デジタル経済・社会政策フレームワーク2021-2035」アジェンダに沿ったもので、銀行部門にとって最重要目標です。

カンボジア国立銀行（NBC）と経済・財務省のテコ・スタートアップ・センター（TSC）は昨年、銀行・金融セクターにおけるe-KYC導入促進のための協力体制を構築しました。
経済財務省の次官であり、e-KYCに関する省庁間ワーキンググループの議長を務めるコン・マリー氏は、「以前、民間セクター、特に銀行セクターは、官民フォーラムを通じて、顧客の本人確認のために政府のデータとリンクすることを提案した」と述べたと伝えられている。
「これを受けて、経済財務省は内務省の本人確認情報と連携する仕組みとしてe-KYCシステムを構築した。」と指摘した。
CamDXは、2020年6月に政府によって正式に立ち上げられ、データの暗号化、デジタル署名、データ交換のタイムスタンプを保証し、安全性、完全性、正確性を実現している。同プラットフォームは、アマゾン ウェブ サービス（AWS）、国連開発計画（UNDP）、アポリティカルが共同で主催する「フューチャー・オブ・ガバメント・アワード」において、「2022年オープンソース・アダプテーション・オブ・ザ・イヤー」を受賞した。
金融・デジタル業界関係者は、CamDXをe-KYC認証の手段としてだけでなく、オンラインビジネス登録（OBR）プラットフォームの促進役として、また王国への投資にとって魅力的な環境としてとらえている。
