フン・マネ首相は本日（月曜日）、民間セクターの作業部会を交えた第19回政府・民間セクターフォーラムの議長を務め、世界的な経済シナリオの悪化を背景に、民間セクターの課題に対処し、ビジネスの成長を支援するための対策を講じる。
フン・マネ首相は、「このフォーラムは、国内のビジネス・投資環境を改善するために、民間セクターからの意見や提案を聞くことを目的として開催される」と述べた。
「11月13日には、民間セクターを支援し、より多くの雇用を創出し、経済成長を促進するために民間セクターとの協力を強化するための施策を発表し、実施する予定である。」
固定資産税、観光、中小企業、不動産部門がフォーラムの主なトピックである。
民間セクターフォーラムは、1999年にフン・セン前首相の指導の下、カンボジア王室政府の主導で設立された。
長期的な政策から日々の運営に至るまで、投資環境に関する官民協議のためのメカニズムである。
このフォーラムはまた、王室政府に政策、法律、規制に関する民間セクターのフィードバックを得るチャネルを与えている。
民間セクターフォーラムの傘下にある各作業部会は、フォーラムに向けてビジネスマンや投資家から問題点や解決策について議論し、提起する会議を数回開催した。
カンボジア商工会議所のリム・ヘン副会頭は、まだ解決されていない多くの問題の解決策を見出すことができるとして、このフォーラムに大きな期待を寄せた。
