衛星都市コーピッヒとプノンペンのChbarAmpov地区にあるコーノレア開発地域を結ぶ斜張橋は、人々の移動を容易にするため、先週のPchum Benの連休中に一時的に開通したことがある。
2020年10月、カンボジア海外投資公社が総工費3,800万米ドルで着工したこの橋は、ほぼ完成しており、2023年11月に正式に開通する予定である。
開通後は、長さ824メートル、幅24.5メートルの斜張橋は、コノレア開発地域の南に位置する国道1号線の交通渋滞を大幅に緩和し、物資や人の輸送を促進することで地域経済を向上させる。
