カンボジアのフン・マネ首相は火曜日、政府は国内の農業部門を強化するために1億ドルを確保していると述べた。
フン・マネ首相は、プノンペンで開催された約18,000人の縫製工場労働者との懇親会の席上で、「水稲、精米、野菜などの農産物に介入するため、1億ドルの予算を用意した」と述べた。
フン・マネ氏は、農産物の価格は国際市場の需要によって変動しているが、今回の予算は農家にとって農産物の価格を安定させるのに役立つと付け加えた。
また、この予算は灌漑システムの改善や農業専門家の育成にも使われるという。
一方、首相は、カンボジア政府は全国のコミューンに農業担当官を配置し、農民と直接連携することを計画していると述べた。
農業はカンボジア経済を支える4本柱のひとつである。
農林水産省の報告書によると、東南アジアのカンボジアは2023年の最初の7ヶ月間で、68の国と地域に451万トンの農産物を輸出し、約26億3000万米ドルの総収入を得た。
主な輸出品目は、米、ゴム、キャッサバ、マンゴー、生鮮バナナ、胡椒、カシューナッツ、リュウガン、トウモロコシ、パーム油などである。新華社
