グーグルの親会社であるアルファベットは1.4％下落し、S&P500で最も重いウェイトを占めた。その前日には、最新の人工知能の発表に沸き、急騰していた。他のハイテク株は堅調で、エヌビディア、アップル、マイクロソフトが上昇した。

また、RHも下落した。家庭用家具メーカーのRHは、アナリストの予想を下回る最新四半期決算を発表し、14％下落した。
