フン・マネ首相、水祭りのメッセージを国民に送る

フン・マネ首相は、カンボジア国民に対し、水祭りに際し、旅の安全と健康を祈るメッセージを送った。
「安全な旅と旅をし、健康で、力強く、長生きし、すべての仕事を成功させてください」と首相は日曜日に自身の公式ソーシャルメディアネットワークで述べた。

今年の水祭りは11月26日から28日にかけて行われる。この3日間の祭典は、カンボジアで最も楽しいイベントのひとつである。

「ボートレース、ロイ・プラティップ（ライトアップされた装飾船の展示）、サンピース・プレア・ケー（月祭り）、オク・アンボク（もち米を炒って砕いたもの)。 (バナナやココナッツのジュースと一緒に食べる杵つき）の3つの主要イベントを楽しむために、国中の人々がプノンペンの首都に集まる。」

今年は、全国から337隻のボートがレースに登録され、さまざまな省庁や機関、民間企業を代表する30隻のプラティップが王宮前の川に浮かぶ。

カンボジアでは毎年、モンスーンの季節の終わりを記念し、実り豊かな収穫に対する自然、特に水への感謝を伝え、国の豊かな文化と長い歴史を記念するために、水祭りを開催している。
