首相、地域の観光地からの直行便の増便を求める

フン・マネ首相は、「カンボジアの観光を促進するために、地域の他の観光地からカンボジアへの直行便を増やすよう呼びかけた。シアヌークビルにより多くの観光客と投資をもたらすためには、地域の他の有名な観光地との直行便を確立し、観光客の安全とセキュリティを強化する必要があると」首相は昨日プレア・シアヌーク州で行われた衣料品労働者との懇親会で述べた。

「シアヌーク州への直行便の確立は極めて重要です。シアヌーク州と他の観光地との接続性を向上させる方法を考える必要がある」と述べた。

首相は、「タイ、ベトナム、フィリピン、モルディブ、中国、インドネシアからカンボジアの観光地への直行便が増える可能性を探るべきだ」と述べた。

同首相は、政府はより多くの雇用を創出し、生活を向上させるために、インフラの建設や治安の強化によって投資を誘致する努力をしていると強調した。

2023年の最初の9ヶ月は、カンボジアへの到着者数が370万人という驚異的な数字を記録し、航空旅行が162％増加した。

民間航空局の報告によると、1月から9月までの3つの国際空港の総飛行回数は37,200回であった。

「カンボジアの航空輸送活動は、コロナパンデミック発生前の2019年と比較して、ほぼ50％回復しています」と、民間航空局のマオ・ハバナル担当大臣は10月16日に述べた。

カンボジアは2023年の最初の9ヶ月間で約392万人の外国人観光客を記録し、前年同期の126万人から211％の急増となったことが、先週金曜日に観光省の報告書で明らかになった。

全観光客の34％にあたる約134万人の外国人観光客が国際空港経由でカンボジアに到着し、前年同期比185％の増加、残りは陸路と水路経由であった。
