4人の障害青年がグローバルITチャレンジ2023で大勝利

アラブ首長国連邦のアブダビで最近開催された障害のある若者のためのグローバルITチャレンジ で、4人のカンボジアの障害青年が金メダルと銅メダルを獲得し、国の誇りとなった。

社会問題・退役軍人・青少年リハビリテーション省は、10月24日から28日までアラブ首長国連邦の首都で開催されたグローバルITチャレンジで、4人の障害を持つカンボジアの青年ジョンポフ・シーラノ、ボー・バイサル、イェン・ミトゥナ、シエンヘイが金メダルと4つの銅メダルを獲得したと発表した。

シーラノはeLifeMapコンペティションで金メダルを獲得したほか、eコンテンツ部門のグループコンペティションでヴィサル、ミトゥナ、シエンゲイとともに銅メダルを獲得した。

社会問題・退役軍人・青少年リハビリテーション省のチア・ソメティ大臣は、障害者行動協議会事務総局の代表に対し、第12回障害のある若者のためのグローバルITチャレンジに4人の障害青年が参加することを許可した。

社会問題・退役軍人・青少年リハビリテーション省のエム・チャンマカラ国務大臣は、eツール（PowerPoint）、eツール（Excel）、eLifeMap、eコンテンツ、eクリエイティブ_スマートカー、eクリエイティブ_IoTの6つの競技が開催されたと述べた。

チャンマカラ国務大臣は、今年は合計34名の学生がコンペティションに参加するために応募してきたと付け加えた。

障害のある若者のためのグローバルITチャレンジは、障害のある若者の情報通信技術能力を強化し、社会進歩の基礎を築き、障害のある若者のデジタル・アクセシビリティに対する意識を高めるためのプロジェクトである。

障がいのある若者のための2023年世界ITコンテストには、461人の障がいのある若者を含む536人が参加し、95の競技が行われた。

大会に参加した18カ国は、カンボジア、アラブ首長国連邦、韓国、パキスタン、エジプト、ネパール、モンゴル、ケニア、エチオピア、バングラデシュ、中国、インド、ベトナム、タイ、フィリピン、マレーシア、ラオス、インドネシア。

障害のある若者のためのグローバルITチャレンジは、障害者間のデジタルデバイド（情報格差）を縮小することを目的に、1992年に韓国でスタートした。2011年以降、障害のある若者のためのグローバルITチャレンジは高等教育や就労機会を通じて社会参加を促進するため、世界中の障害のある若者に拡大されている。
