繊維・アパレルSEA-カンボジアサミット2024が2024年3月14日から15日までプノンペンで開催される。

このサミットは、政策、調達戦略、サプライチェーンのデジタル化、現地工場、持続可能な開発といったテーマに焦点を当て、東南アジア地域のトレンドに取り組むことを目的としている。

繊維・アパレル東南アジア（SEA）-カンボジアサミット2024は、SEA地域をカバーする有力な繊維・アパレルサミットで、業界関係者が繊維・アパレルビジネスを獲得し、SEA地域の成長を確保するための機会を提供することを目的としている。

サミットでは、業界のアップグレードと発展を加速させるためのグッドプラクティスの共有とともに、最新の機会とトレンドを把握する。主催者であるGodiAsiaとカンボジア繊維・アパレル・履物・旅行用品協会（TAFTAC）は共同プレスリリースの中で、このイベントは、政策、現状、機会、調達戦略とサプライチェーンのデジタル化、現地工場、労働者、技術のアップグレード、持続可能な開発と循環型繊維バリューチェーンの4つのテーマで構成されていると述べた。

今度の会議のハイライトは、「持続可能な開発と循環型繊維バリューチェーン」、「メイド・イン・カンボジア」、「カンボジア政府による最新の繊維バリューチェーンの深い解釈」についてのディスカッションである： カンボジアの繊維・アパレル産業に対する最新の政府投資政策の深い解釈」、「カンボジアの繊維・衣料産業におけるコスト分析とバランスの取れた生産戦略へのロードマップ」。

その他のトピックとしては、「カンボジア繊維・アパレル産業の2030年展望」、「露・ウクライナ戦争がカンボジア産業に与えた影響の深い分析」、「アジア・アパレル調達の現状と主要動向」、「サプライチェーンのデジタル化」などがある。

また、「今後10年間のカンボジアにおける衣料品製造のコスト計算」、「カンボジアにおける投資と工場建設の事例共有」、「技術革新の新しいトレンドと実践」、「SEA諸国におけるグリーンで持続可能な開発」、「アジアにおける繊維製品の持続可能性と責任ある調達」についても議論する。

会議には、カンボジア商務省の代表者、VFコーポレーションのジャイルズ・ファウラー東南アジア生産事業部長、TAFTACのケン・ルー事務局長、カンボジア経済財務省の関係者などが招待された。

その他、アディダスのRob Fessele氏、中国国家紡織服装委員会のChen Weikang氏、Decathlon VN、Marks and Spencer、Coats Digital、Li & Fung Limited、MAS Holdings、Asmara International Limited、Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production、Bao minh Textile JSC、bluesign technologies AGの代表者、H&Mのサステナビリティ東南アジア担当責任者であるRachel Vanessa Tan氏などが登壇した。

カンボジアの繊維産業は、世界で最も急速に成長している国のひとつである。カンボジアは3月17日、国内総生産の3分の1以上を占める経済の柱である繊維・アパレル産業を刷新するための新たなロードマップを発表した。衣料品、履物、旅行用品産業は昨年、カンボジアの総輸出の57％を生み出した。2022年の輸出額は126億ドルで、前年の110億ドルから14.9％増加した。世界的に見て、カンボジアは衣料品、履物、旅行用品の第9位の輸出国である。企業は、カンボジアの高付加価値繊維・アパレルへのシフトから生まれる新たな機会に注目すべきである。Fibre2Fashion ニュースデスク（NB）
