第7回ASCOPE中間タスクフォース会議が2023年8月9日から11日までの3日間、シェムリアップのアンコールホテルで開催された。

会議には、ASEANの国営石油会社、石油機関、開発パートナー、その他のステークホルダーが出席した。

会議では、ASEAN石油評議会（ASCOPE）の4つの作業部会（探鉱・生産作業部会、ガス支援作業部会、政策・能力調査作業部会、クリーンエネルギー作業部会）の主な作業進捗状況について検討・協議した。

同時にKhavan氏は、カンボジアの石油部門への投資を促進するため、PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation（PVEP）のTran Hong Nam会長兼CEOとも会談した。

さらに、シェムリアップ国際空港にて、燃料供給の管理・運営について学ぶスタディツアーを実施したほか、アンコール地域の寺院を訪問するツアーを企画し、カンボジアの石油部門を促進し、投資家を誘致するとともに、カンボジアの輝かしい文化をASEAN諸国に広める良い機会となった。
