カンボジアの2023年1-11月期の輸出額は205億ドル相当で、前年同期の202億4,000万ドルから1.2％の微増であったと、税関総署が火曜日に発表した。
一方、カンボジアの対中輸出は、1月から11月の間に前年同期の11億ドルから13億ドルに18％以上増加した。
中国は米国、ベトナムに次いで東南アジア第3位の輸出先であることに変わりはない。
カンボジアの主な輸出品目は、衣料品、履物、旅行用品、自転車、米、ゴム、キャッサバ、バナナ、マンゴー、リュウガンなどの農産物である。
中国への輸出が大幅に増加したことについて、カンボジア商務省のペン・ソビシート国務長官兼報道官は、「昨年発効した地域包括的経済連携協定とカンボジア・中国自由貿易協定がこの成長に弾みをつけた」と述べた。
「この2つの自由貿易協定により、カンボジア製品は特恵関税で中国に輸出されるようになりました。」
「この2つの自由貿易協定は、カンボジアの長期的かつ持続可能な輸出成長のための触媒なのです。」
