中国の一帯一路構想主導の投資は、カンボジアのインフラ整備、経済成長の促進、貧困撲滅において重要な役割を果たすと、フン・マネ首相は昨日述べた。
プノンペン-シアヌークビル高速道路は中国の一帯一路構想のメガプロジェクトの一つであり、首相は高速道路開通1周年記念のメッセージの中で次のように述べた。
「この高速道路は、交通渋滞を回避し、移動時間を2時間程度に短縮することで、移動の効率を向上させるという重要な役割を果たしている」と述べた。
首相は、この高速道路はプノンペンの第一経済極と、現在「モデル多目的経済特区」として開発が進められているシアヌークビルの第二経済極を結んでいる」と述べた。
中国道路橋梁公司が投資した187kmの高速道路は、プノンペンとシアヌークビルの国際深水港を結んでいる。
「高速道路開発への同社の投資は、カンボジアが中国の一帯一路構想から受けた具体的な利益を示しており、カンボジアと中国のかけがえのない鉄壁の友好協力を強調している」と述べた。
中国の習近平国家主席が主導した中国の一帯一路構想は、中国政府が2013年に採択した世界的なインフラ開発戦略で、150以上の国や国際組織に投資する。
カンボジア開発評議会のスン・チャントル副首相兼第一副会長は、「中国の一帯一路構想は、カンボジアを含む多くの発展途上国に、インフラ整備、海外直接投資、経済成長、地域・世界統合などの数多くの利点を提供してきました」と述べ、「中国の中国の一帯一路構想は、貧困を急速に削減し、2050年までに高所得国になることを目指してカンボジアの社会経済発展を促進することで、カンボジア国民を大いに助けてきました」と10月24日に述べた。
中国の一帯一路構想の成果には、シェムリアップ・アンコール国際空港、建設中の新プノンペン国際空港、プノンペン-シアヌークビル高速道路、建設中のプノンペン-バベット高速道路、その他のインフラが含まれるという。
